Mortality data, made inspectable.

VitaeMX builds life tables for Mexico and its 32 states from official demographic projections, then fits a Gompertz-Makeham mortality law to the observed data.

The fitted curve is used to calculate simplified net premiums for term and whole-life insurance, with assumptions and methodology kept visible rather than hidden in a black box.

Research that can become a product.

The project pairs a Python scientific stack with a FastAPI service and React interface. Its documentation records architecture decisions, data lineage, methodology, and validation as part of the build.
